Tiffany — Ground Work Therapy

Tiffany Venegas

LCSW (she/her)

A highly relational approach—showing up as a real person in the room.

Hi, I'm Tiffany! I use humor to keep things human and grounded, while bringing the structure and directness needed to create real change. I won't let you stay stuck.

I earned my B.S. in Psychology from the University of San Francisco before completing my MSW at UCLA with an emphasis in health and mental health across the lifespan. My clinical training spanned school aged children at West End Family Counseling, the CalWORKs program at Harbor UCLA, and high acuity work at Didi Hirsch in Glendale.

I'm now building my private practice working with both teens and adults, bringing the same curiosity, warmth, and directness to every session.

Specialities

  • ACT: Acceptance & Commitment Therapy

Notice and step back from unhelpful thought loops so your values—not anxiety—can guide your choices. ACT is especially useful for perfectionism, worry, and feeling stuck despite being self-aware.

  • CBT: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy

Identify the thought patterns and behaviors maintaining your struggles, then work systematically to shift them. It is practical, structured work designed to create meaningful change.

  • DBT: Dialectical Behavior Therapy

Build concrete skills for managing intense emotions, tolerating distress, and navigating relationships with more ease. Expect a usable toolkit, not insight alone.

  • Trauma: Trauma-Informed Care

Process difficult experiences without losing your sense of safety or control. We move at a manageable pace so the past can stop dictating the present.

  • Anxiety & ADHD: Support for a Mind That Is Always On

Untangle overthinking, self-doubt, and emotional overwhelm so you can respond with clarity instead of reacting from fear. We address anxiety and ADHD with targeted, practical strategies.

  • Life Transitions: Support Through Change

For teens and adults navigating identity shifts, relationships, grief, school, work, or a season that no longer fits. We make room for what is changing and build a steadier way forward.
